What's new

Updates and improvements to Velo Hub Manager.

  1. Points out on the road

    • Every race now has an intermediate sprint and, where the profile allows, a mountain (KOM) prime. Whoever leads the front of the race over them scores ranking points — with your captain multiplier — so a well-placed rider can put points on the board long before the finish.
    • The live ticker calls each prime, the stage profile marks them (green sprint, pink KOM), and the result screen shows who took them.
  2. A sharper look for your riders

    • The rider profile now shows a bold portrait of your rider in the team kit — jersey pattern, aero helmet and mirrored shades on a team-coloured backdrop.
    • More visual upgrades are on the way: a kit studio to design your jersey, rider-type icons, and a new look for the start screen.
  3. Race tactics: control the chase

    • During a live race you now set a team chase intent — Chase, Neutral or Conserve — to drive the bunch and pull a break back for your sprinter, or sit up and save energy. Driving the chase costs your riders' legs.
    • When a breakaway goes up the road, the race asks whether to commit your team to the chase.
    • Support roles bite harder: a domestique launching your sprinter is a real lead-out, and one beside your leader shelters them from the wind for the finale.
  4. Real training sessions & rider physiology

    • Training now offers real sessions — recovery, endurance, tempo, threshold, VO2max, sprint and double threshold — each building different attributes with its own fatigue cost. Hard sessions improve riders faster but demand rest afterwards.
    • Rider profiles now show a physical profile: FTP, weight and W/kg (power-to-weight), the number climbers live by.
  5. Clearer on mobile, staff moves to Training

    • Squad and Transfers now use tidy cards on phones — no more sideways scrolling, and every rider's skills stay visible.
    • Hiring coaching staff (coach, physio, nutritionist, mechanic) moved from Finances to the Training page, next to your riders.
  6. Calendar stats, varied names, elevation

    • The calendar now shows prize money, stages, distance and climbing per race, so you can weigh reward against effort.
    • Route profiles show total climbing (metres), not just length.
    • Rider names are far more varied — the same surname no longer keeps showing up.
    • The 'domestique' role is now labelled more clearly.
  7. In-race decisions

    • During a live race, key moments now pause and ask you: send your rider up the road now, or hold and save energy? Your call shapes the result.
  8. Season stakes: the board is watching

    • The board now tracks its confidence in you. Beat your season targets and it rises; miss them and it falls.
    • Let confidence drop too far over several poor seasons and you get sacked — so every season matters.
